Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Frens ("Frens", "we", "us") for your use of frens.gg and the Frens app for Android (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Crypto is risky. Coins traded on Frens, especially newly launched coins, are extremely volatile and can lose all of their value in minutes. Only trade what you can afford to lose. Nothing on Frens is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.

1. Who can use Frens

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
You may not use the Service where it is illegal for you to do so, or if you are subject to sanctions. Some features (for example coins paired with tokenized stocks) are not available in certain countries, including the United States, and we may restrict access by location.
You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including tax obligations on your trades.

2. Your account and wallet

You sign in through our authentication partner Privy, which also creates self-custodial embedded wallets for your account.
Your wallet is yours. Frens never holds your private keys. You can export your private key from the wallet menu, and you should do so before deleting your account. Keep your sign-in methods secure: anyone who controls them can control your wallet.
Blockchain transactions are final. We cannot cancel, reverse or refund a transaction once it is sent.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at once at reply@frens.gg if you think it was compromised.

3. Trading, launches and fees

Frens provides software that lets you swap coins using third-party decentralized protocols and liquidity (such as Meteora, Jupiter and 0x). We do not act as your broker, custodian, exchange or financial advisor, and we don't guarantee any price, route or outcome.
Coins launched on Frens are created by users, not by Frens. A listing, ranking, trending position or any other feature is not an endorsement. Research every coin yourself.
Frens charges a 0.2% fee on every swap (buys, sells, copied trades, take profit and stop loss, and a launch's dev buy) and on every withdrawal made in Frens. It is paid in SOL in the same transaction: on top of the SOL you spend on a buy or send in a withdrawal, from the SOL you receive on a sell, and for a coin withdrawal 0.2% of the coin's value at the live price. Coins launched on Frens also carry their curve's fee (Frens' 1% platform fee plus the creator's fee where it applies). Deposits are free on Frens' side. Network fees are paid to the blockchain. Fees are shown before you confirm.
Prices, charts and statistics come from third-party data providers and may be delayed or wrong.

4. Rewards, tasks and referrals

Bonuses, task rewards and referral rewards are promotional, limited, can change or end at any time, and are paid only when the conditions shown in the app are met. We may refuse or reverse rewards obtained through fake accounts, automation, self-referral or other abuse.

5. Your content and conduct

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Frens a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show and share your content as part of the Service.

You must not post or do anything that:

is illegal, fraudulent or a scam, including fake giveaways, phishing links and "send crypto to get more back" schemes;
manipulates markets, including coordinated pump-and-dump schemes, wash trading or spreading false information about coins;
harasses, threatens, bullies or promotes hate or violence against anyone;
contains sexual content, nudity, or any content involving minors in a sexual way;
impersonates a person, project or company, or misleads people about who you are;
is spam, or uses bots, scripts or multiple accounts to game rewards, rankings or votes;
infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy, or shares someone's personal information without permission;
attacks, overloads or tries to break the Service or other users' accounts.

6. Reporting and moderation

You can report any post and block any account from the ⋯ menu on a post. Blocked accounts' posts and replies are hidden from you.
Our team reviews reports and may remove content, limit features, withhold rewards, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with or without notice. Contact reply@frens.gg to appeal a decision.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example Privy, blockchains, decentralized exchanges, data providers and X). Their services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any information on it is accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Frens and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, coins, funds or data, arising from your use of the Service, trading, blockchain transactions, third-party services or other users' content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Frens in the three months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Frens and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or end access to the Service if you break these terms or if we have to for legal reasons. Your wallet and coins on the blockchain remain yours.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Using the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
