Delete your Frens account
Last updated October 20, 2026
You can delete your Frens account and its data yourself at any time, in the Frens app for Android or on the website. It takes less than a minute.
Delete in the app or on the website
- Open Frens and sign in.
- Tap your profile picture (top right), then Security.
- Tap Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.
This button opens Frens, asks you to sign in if needed, and then shows the delete confirmation.
Can't sign in?
Email reply@frens.gg from the email address you sign in with (or tell us your Frens username and the wallet address shown in your profile), and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We complete requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile: username, name, bio, location, link, profile and cover photos
- Your posts, replies, likes, images you posted, polls, rooms, follows, watchlist, notifications, votes and settings
- Your list of wallets on Frens
- IP address, approximate location and activity records linked to your account
Deletion from our main database is immediate. Copies in backups are removed within 30 days.
What is kept
- Your sign-in account and wallet at our authentication partner, Privy (email, Google or X link, and the wallet with its funds). To have the sign-in account deleted as well, email reply@frens.gg after deleting your Frens account. Move your funds out or export your key first: deleting the sign-in account deletes its wallet.
- Transactions and coins on public blockchains (trades, transfers, coins you launched with their name and logo). Blockchains are public and permanent, so nobody can delete them.
- Records we must keep for security, fraud prevention, accounting or legal reasons: reward and payout records (including the X username used for a reward and a one-way hash of the IP address), and trade records with the link to your account removed. These are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
You can also delete individual posts at any time from the ⋯ menu on the post, without deleting your account. See our Privacy Policy for details.
